H & B Avon vs Carlton Redcliffs 12.00pm @ Marist
H & B Avon take on the Reindeer this weekend, with a win potentially cementing a place in the semi finals. The Eels are coming off a good win against Marist last weekend and are hoping to keep up the momentum. Amy ‘be chill’ Walcott is on fine form after a hat trick and will have to keep it calm for this weeks big game. She’s decided to stay clear of her chill pills which can sometimes work a bit too well.
Kizz ‘da finisher’ Brown and Olivia Amey will have company on the sidelines with the addition of Sarah McLaren. Sarah McLaren’s work to gain her own fan club has come to a halt this week after tension with Sarah ‘foul mouth’ Walcott at a team event. A friendly card game turned competitive and a couple of broken fingers later, McLaren learnt that there’s only room in the team for one Sarah. McLaren normally relishes at a chance to play Redcliffs but it looks like she’ll be waiting even longer for that elusive friend request. With most of the strike line down and out, coaches have had to call on Kate ‘playmaker’ Allan yet again.
Unfortunately this weekend won’t be the usually eel vs reindeer family affair with Emma ‘smooth talker’ Symes’ absence, however, the game is still bound to be exciting.
